(I’m Brian Soria)
Hey howdy, my name is Brian Soria. I’m an Austin-born creative, author of Spook Troops and creator of Drawlloween.
Recently, I was the Marketing Director (and creative department) for Austin's Couch Potatoes furniture. In my time there I rebranded the company, which included re-designing logos, icons, colors and typefaces and helping develop the new website launch after migrating it to Shopify. Part of the company's refresh included doin’ nifty things like creating unique branding & writing the copy for a dozen product lines, keeping that consistent voice in any place a customer may interact with us. Being the only person on the creative team, I worked on it all from scratch: content generation for social media, maintaining style when taking product photography, and through print materials like schematics, promotional swag, up to large format banners.

For 5 years prior to that, I spent time as Email Marketing Manager and Interactive Designer for the globally-known Callaway Golf and their affiliated brands. That time overlapped with my decade of working as an artist and designer for the nationally acclaimed House of Torment Haunted houses. In that time I was part of the creative team responsible for developing story, sets, prop, and costumes.

When I'm not running Drawlloween or podcastin’ with 1031SPKY.com, I like to drink coffee, sketch things, and travel the world.
